Owned by Jim and Cindy Whelpley along with Jim Jr.. We have been selling VW and Dune Buggy parts and accessories for over 20 years.

Over 30 years ago Jim worked for Wades All Car Service in Lansing. the owner there Hubert Wade taught Jim a lot about doing the right thing when it came to customers, and doing a job right the first time. Hubert had over 40 years of experience and had a lot to offer that inspired Jim to try it on his own.

In 1988 Jim and Cindy opened their buggy shop using a walk in closet for a show room/office. Two years later they moved the shop into a 180 sq foot garage, it didn't take long that more room was needed, next was a 360 sq ft. building now when you stop by Jim's you will find a complete repair facility with a show room full of parts, a 4 stall shop area, and an engine clean room for building of motors. We offer parts by all of the top suppliers, name brand accessories, and have a complete repair facility. Doing repairs, restorations, complete builds, transmission repairs and upgrades, motors from mild to wild. With all machine work done inhouse.
